Ad#12137462 03/05/2026 Notice is hereby given by the City of Palm Bay that the State Housing InitiativesPartnership Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) for Fiscal Years 2026 to 2029 hasbeen drafted and is available to the public for review and comment. The purpose of theLHAP is to set forth strategies to increase the delivery of affordable housing within theCity of Palm Bay pursuant to Section 420.907 420.9079, Florida Statutes, and RuleChapter 67-37, Florida Administrative Code. The public comment period commences on March 11, 2026, and ends on April 16,2026. Citizens are encouraged to review the proposed LHAP for Fiscal Years 2026-27,2027-28, 2028-29, and comment. A copy of the proposed LHAP will be available viathe Citys website at https://www.palmbayfl.gov/government/city-departments-f-to-z/housingprogramsand the City of Palm Bay Housing and Community Improvement Division,located on the second floor of Building A. Submit comments to the City of Palm Bay Housing and Community Improvement Division at HCDinfo@palmbayfl.gov or by callingVal Terry at 321-952-3400 x 4045. A public input meeting to discuss the proposed LHAP for Fiscal Years 2026 to 2029 willbe held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 9:00 A.M. in the City Council Chambers. Public hearings will be held during the Citizens Advisory Board Meeting on Wednesday,March 18, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. and the City Council Meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2026,at 6:00 P.M., both in the City Council Chambers located at 120 Malabar Rd SE, PalmBay, FL 32907. Interested parties are encouraged to attend. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida Statutes 286.26,persons with disabilities who require special accommodations to participate in thesemeetings should contact the Housing and Community Improvement Division at least 24hours prior to the meetings at (321) 952-3400 x 4045.
