NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REVOCATION OF A MEDICAL HARDSHIP TEMPORARY USE PERMIT The Sumter County Planning and Zoning Special Master will hold a public hearing on April 6, 2026, at 5:00 P.M at The Villages Sumter County Service Center, 7375 Powell Rd, Wildwood, FL 34785 to consider revocation of the following approved temporary use permit: Case No: STU25-000042 Applicant: Sumter County based on an appeal by Carole Vetto at 13526 CR 245EN, Oxford, FL 34484 General Location: Oxford area South of CR 245N and West of I-75 Legal Description: A parcel of land in section 5, Township 18 South, Range 22 East, Sumter County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows; For a point of reference, commence at the Southwest corner of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 5, Township 18 South, Range 22 East, Sumter County, Florida, run thence S. 895414E., along the South boundary of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 5, a distance of 199.26 feet for the point of beginning, continue thence S.895414 E., along said South boundary of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 5, a distance of 960.18 feet to a point on the Westerly right-of-way line of Interstate 75; thence N. 244015W., along said Westerly right-of-way line of Interstate 75, a distance of 989.96 feet; thence S.895637W., a distance of 547.84 feet; thence S.00323E, a distance of 897.45 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to an easement for ingress and egress over and across the Easterly 50.00 feet and the Northerly 25.00 feet of the above-described property. Requested Action: Intent to revoke a medical hardship temporary use permit that allowed for a recreational vehicle (RV) placed on parcel C05-014 for one year as a medical care receiver residence. The revocation documentation for this case may be inspected by the public at the Planning and Floodplain Division, The Villages Sumter County Service Center, 7375 Powell Rd, Wildwood between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. weekdays.
