LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARING The Sumter County Planning Zoning Special Master will hold a public hearing on April 6, 2026 at 5:00 P.M at The Villages Sumter County Service Center 7375 Powell Rd, Wildwood, FL 34785 to consider the following application: Case No: STU25-000067 Applicant: Gulfstream Towers General Location: Unincorporated area West of I-75 and South N C 470 Legal Description: East 3/4 of South 1/2 of North 1/2, lying West of I-75 road right-of-way all lying and being in section 16, Township 20 South, Range 22 East, less and except the North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 being in Section 16, Township 20 South, Range 22 East, Sumter County, Florida, and Subject to an Easement as described in O.R. BOOK 2964, PAGE 239, Public Records of Sumter County, Florida. Requested Action: Minor Special Use Permit for a 199 monopole communications tower. The proposed change may be inspected by the public at the Planning and Floodplain Division, The Villages Sumter County Service Center, 7375 Powell Rd, Wildwood between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. weekdays. Contact the Planning and Floodplain Division at 352-689-4400 or pz@sumtercountyfl.gov with questions. Interested parties are encouraged to appear at these hearings and provide comments regarding the proposed application. Those requiring assistance may call 352-689-4400. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 286, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any action taken by an above named Board respect to any matter considered during any meeting of such Board, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and that, for such purposes, he or she may need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record may include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
