Miscellaneous Public Notices JACKSONVILLE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION BOARD NOTICE OF FINAL RULEMAKING JEPB RULE 1: ORGANIZATION PROCEDURE AND PRACTICE The Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board (Board) gives notice that at a duly noticed public hearing on April 20, 2026, the Board adopted amendments to Board Rule 1 Organization Procedure and Practice. The hearing was authorized by Sections 73.102, 362.104(c), (e) and (m), Ordinance Code and Board Rule 1. The amendments to JEPB Rule 1 update various portions of the rule with a new department for the Environmental Quality Division. It also created a new Part VIII to handle new Administrative Hearings delegated to the JEPB for abandoned vessels. The City Council Secretary was notified on April 21, 2026, as required by Board Rule 1 and the updated rule will become effective on May 11, 2026. Copies of the amended rule may be obtained from or examined at the Office of the Environmental Protection Board, 214 N. Hogan Street, Fifth Floor, Jacksonville, Florida, during normal working hours of 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays recognized by the City. Apr. 30 (26-02388D)
