NOTICE TO TAXING AUTHORITIES ANDNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGNotice is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of Section 163.346, Florida Statutes, as amended, that the City Council of the City of Orlando, Florida (the City Council) will consider the adoption of a resolution approving and authorizing the issuance of redevelopment revenue bonds by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Orlando, Florida (the Agency) under Section 163.385, Florida Statutes, in one or more series including, but not limited to, the issuance by the Agency of its Tax Increment Revenue Bond (Downtown District), Series 2026A or by such different name and series designation as directed by the Agencys Chairman (the Bond). Such resolution will be considered by City Council at a meeting to be held on February 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, 400 South Orange Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32802. The governing body of the Agency will consider the adoption of its bond resolution authorizing the issuance of the Bond at its meeting to be held at the same location and on the same date and approximate time as the City Council meeting. Proceeds of the Bond will finance various improvements throughout the Downtown Orlando Community Redevelopment Area which may include but are not limited to initiatives such as the Canopy (formerly Under-I), converting various streets in Downtown Orlando from one-way to two-way streets, right-of-way improvements including festival streets, upgraded sidewalks, enhanced civic spaces, various affordable housing projects, and improvements to Lake Eola Park and the surrounding area. The Title of the City resolution reads as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORLANDO, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE SUPPLEMENTAL BOND RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF ORLANDO, FLORIDA (THE AGENCY) APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE BY THE AGENCY OF ITS TAX INCREMENT REVENUE BOND (DOWNTOWN DISTRICT), SERIES 2026A, IN AN ORIGINAL PRINCIPAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $160,000,000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS THROUGHOUT THE DOWNTOWN ORLANDO COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AREA; PROVIDING CERTAIN COVENANTS AND AUTHORIZATIONS OF THE CITY AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
