NOTICE OF RULEMAKING HEARING REGARDING CHAPTER II: STOREY CREEK COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AMENITY POLICIES In accordance with Chapter 190 and Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, the Storey Creek Community Development District (the District) hereby gives notice of its intent to adopt Rule Chapter II: Storey Creek Community Development District Amenity Policies (Amenity Rules), to provide for the governing of the amenity facilities including, but not limited to, shared-use paths, parking lot, playground area, dog park(s), lakes, ponds and natural areas owned by or dedicated to the District. Prior notice of the rule development relative to the proposed Amenity Rules was published in the Orlando Sentinel on Friday, April 10, 2026. A public hearing will be conducted by the Board of Supervisors of the Storey Creek Community Development District on May 18, 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Oasis Club at ChampionsGate, 1520 Oasis Club Blvd., Davenport, Florida 33896, relative to the adoption of the Amenity Rules. Pursuant to Sections 190.011(5) and 190.012(3), Florida Statutes, the Amenity Rules will not require legislative ratification. Among others, the purpose and effect of the Amenity Rules is to provide for efficient and effective operations of the Districts amenity facilities and related property as provided in Section 190.035, Florida Statutes. Specific grant of rulemaking authority for the adoption of the Amenity Rules includes Sections 190.011, 190.011(5), 190.012(2)(d), 190.012(3), 190.035(2) and 120.54, Florida Statutes. The public hearing will provide an opportunity for the public to address the Amenity Rules. A copy of the proposed Amenity Rules and any material proposed to be incorporated by reference may be obtained by contacting the District Manager, George S. Flint, at c/o Governmental Management Services Central Florida, 219 E. Livingston Street, Orlando, FL 32801, by phone during normal business hours at (407) 841-5524, or by e-mail at gflint@gmscfl.com (District Managers Office). The public hearing may be continued to a later date, time and place to be specified on the record at the hearing. There may be occasions when Board members, staff or other individuals may participate by speaker telephone. Any person requiring special accommodations at this public hearing because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the District Managers Office at least forty eight (48) hours prior to the public hearing.
