The Daytona State College District Board of Trustees announces their regularly scheduled monthly meeting: DATE: Wednesday, June 17, 2026. TIME: 1:00 p.m. Workshop, 2:00 p.m. Meeting PLACE: Daytona State College's Daytona Campus, Wetherell Center (Bldg. 100), Board Room (Room 402L), 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL. PURPOSE: General business of the Daytona State College District Board of Trustees which will include the annual adjustment of classroom laboratory fees; proposed increases to assessment and graduation fees.
Daytona State College has not increased standard tuition and fees for 16 years as of fiscal year 2026-27. DSC was the only public college in Florida to reduce tuition by two percent in 2015 and has maintained that reduction ever since. Tuition and fees are expended as authorized in Florida Statutes, including supporting the mission of the college and its operational needs. Other student user fees are reviewed annually and adjusted accordingly based on actual costs of providing the related services. Classroom laboratory fees are reviewed annually and are adjusted to reflect the actual cost of classroom materials and services.
The proposed fee increases are strictly covering the increase in related costs to provide such services. Details by course on the recommended deletions, decreases, increases, new lab fees and proposed fee increases have been posted on the College website and can be viewed here
