NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Deltona, Florida will hold a public hearing on the following:
ORDINANCE NO. 20-2025
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DELTONA, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 110-814, ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS FOR CERTAIN PERMITTED PRINCIPAL USES AND STRUCTURES, OF ARTICLE VIII, SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS, OF CHAPTER 110, ZONING, AND SECTION 70-30, DEFINITIONS, OF ARTICLE II, LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, OF CHAPTER 70, GENERAL PROVISIONS, OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE CITY OF DELTONA TO ESTABLISH DEFINITIONS FOR BARNDOMINIUMS AND METAL BUILDINGS, TO PROVIDE REGULATIONS FOR METAL BUILDINGS, TO EXPRESSLY PERMIT BARNDOMINIUMS AS A PRINCIPAL RESIDENTIAL USE, AND TO PROVIDE FOR RELATED REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
A Public Hearing will be held as follows:
Planning & Zoning Board May 20, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
City Commission (First Reading) June 1, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
City Commission (Second Reading) July 6, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
at City Hall, 2345 Providence Boulevard, Deltona, Florida.
All interested parties are invited to provide their comments, views and objections to the Deltona City Commission as part of the Public Hearing. The failure of a person to appear during said public hearing and to object either in person or in writing to said case may severely restrict the ability of such a person to contest it at a later date.
The associated paperwork may be inspected by the public at the Deltona City Hall, 2345 Providence Blvd., Deltona, Florida, Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. For further information, contact the City Clerks Office at (386) 878-8500. The date, time and place of any continuance of the above scheduled public hearing will be announced at said public hearing and no further notice regarding said continuance is required to be published.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Deltona City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The City does not provide this verbatim record.
All parties in interest and persons for or against aforementioned items will be given an opportunity to be heard at said Public Hearing.
