The City Council of the City of Fort Myers, Florida, proposes to adopt the following ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO. 4091
To Be Entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT MYERS, FLORIDA, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF FORT MYERS, FLORIDA, TO CHANGE ITS TERRITORIAL LIMITS BY THE VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF AN UNINCORPORATED TRACT OF LAND CONSISTING OF 13.76 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY LOCATED WEST OF TREELINE AVENUE, NORTH OF DANIELS PARKWAY (FOLIO ID NUMBER 10259563), FORT MYERS, FLORIDA; AND FINDING THAT THE CONDITIONS OF CHAPTER 171, FLORIDA STATUTES, EXIST FOR ANNEXATION OF SAID TRACT OF LAND; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The Fort Myers City Council will hold a PUBLIC HEARING concerning the proposed enactment of the above titled ordinance in the Council Chambers at Oscar M. Corbin, Jr. City Hall, 2200 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida, on Monday, JUNE 15, 2026, on or about 5:15 oclock p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard. Copies of the proposed ordinance may be obtained or inspected at the City Clerks Office in Oscar M. Corbin, Jr. City Hall or viewed at www.cityftmyers.com. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard in respect to the proposed ordinance.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by City Council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
