ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES Notice is hereby given that the City Commission, City of New Smyrna Beach, will conduct public hearings for consideration of adoption of the following ordinances on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the regular City Commission meeting starting at 5:30 p.m., in the City Commission Chambers, 214 Sams Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, Florida: Copies of the ordinances may be obtained by mail or inspected in person at the Office of the City Clerk, 210 Sams Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168, Telephone (386) 410-2630. Pursuant to Sec. 166.041(3)(a), F.S., all interested persons may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. ORDINANCE NO. 24-26 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEW SMYRNA BEACH REZONING 11.4 ACRES OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF SOUTH MYRTLE AVENUE, SOUTH OF STATE ROAD 44/MARTIN LUTHER KING OVERPASS, FROM CITY LIGHT INDUSTRY (I-1) AIRPORT OVERLAY TO CITY PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) AIRPORT OVERLAY ZONING DISTRICT; APPROVING THE SHOPS AT NEW SMYRNA BEACH PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT MASTER DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE SHOPS OF NEW SMYRNA BEACH PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT MASTER DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECORD IS REQUIRED TO APPEAL Pursuant to Sec. 286.0105, F.S., if any person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission at this public meeting, the person will need a record of the proceedings and for such purposes may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
