CITY OF ORANGE CITY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given and published that the City Council of the City of Orange City, Florida will hold a second and final public hearing for the following administrative text amendment. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input and consider adoption of an Ordinance as set forth below: ORDINANCE NO. 700. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE CITY, FLORIDA, UPDATING THE FIVE-YEAR SCHEDULE OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR FISCAL YEARS 25/26 THROUGH 29/30; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The second and final public hearing is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. All public hearings are located in Council Chambers located in the City Annex at 201 North Holly Avenue, Orange City, Florida. A copy of the above ordinance is available and may be obtained from the Orange City Clerks Office located at 229 East Graves Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., by calling (386) 775-5403, or by emailing cityclerk@orangecityfl.gov. All interested persons may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the above administrative text amendment to the Code of Ordinances. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to the proceedings at the meeting, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony upon which the appeal is to be based. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing a special accommodation for these hearings should contact Human Resources at (386) 775-5480 three (3) working days in advance of the hearing they plan on attending to make the request.
