CITY OF ORMOND BEACH PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Adjustments and Appeals of the City of Ormond Beach, Florida, pursuant to the City's Land Development Code, will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 6:00 PM in theCity Commission Chambers, City Hall, 22 South Beach Street, Ormond Beach, Florida, for the purpose of hearing all parties in interest and to consider and act upon the application of The Performance Group, Inc. on behalf of the property owner Southland Realty Co., LLC of 12 Southland Road, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174. The applicant seeks to construct a 12-foot-high solid sound wall in a portion of the rear yard. Section 2-50(n)(3) of the Ormond Beach Land Development Code requires that solid-style fences be no more than 6 feet in height in the rear yard. The applicant is seeking a height variance of 6 feet to allow a 12-foot solid sound wall in a portion of the rear yard for the property located at 12 Southland Road. The property is located at 12 Southland Road, Volusia County Parcel Number: 3231-00-00-0010 and generally described as: 31-13-32 E 1000 FT OF W 2000 FT E OF US 1 HWY IN SW 1/4 N OF SOUTHLAND RD & S OF SAWMILL CREEK CT & W OF & ADJ TO LOTS 1 & 2 PINE CREEK ESTATES MB 38 PGS 142-143 INC MEAS 500 FT ON E & W/L PER OR 2291 PG 0414. ALL PERSONS IN INTEREST and persons for or against the requested variance shall have the opportunity to be heard at this Public Hearing. Copies of the request are available for inspection by the public in the Planning Department, Ormond Beach City Hall, 22 South Beach Street, Room 104, Ormond Beach, Florida.
