NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING City of Port Orange, Florida U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Notice of Proposed First Amendment to PY2025 HUD CDBG Annual Action Plan The City of Port Orange will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 5:00p.m. in Council Chambers, City Hall, 1000 City Center Circle, Port Orange, FL, 32129. This notice is provided in compliance with the Citys adopted Citizen Participation Plan(Adopted June 16, 2020), as required by 24 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) 91. TheCity of Port Oranges Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is fundedthrough the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City isproposing to re-allocate the citys PY2025 CDBG allocation on the Port Orange MemorialPark Multi-Use Trail Project ($354,806) to Jackson and Oak Street DrainageImprovements. The City is submitting the First Amendment to PY 2025 HUD CDBG Annual Action Plan. The 30-day comment period will close on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Commentsreceived by the City on or before the end of the comment period will be forwarded to theU.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Comments received afterthe comment period will not be considered. A detailed account of the activities and costs associated with the CDBG program may beobtained by visiting the Citys website at www.port-orange.org, or by contacting TheresaBrooks, Grants Manager, at telephone 386-717-9050, or written comments may besubmitted by email to tbrooks@port-orange.org or by regular U.S. Mail attention to: Theresa Brooks, 1000 City Center Circle, Port Orange FL 32129.
