County of Volusia, Florida Annual Plan Amendment Notice Amendment Preface: The purpose of this notice is to provide citizens with reasonable notice and opportunity to comment on proposed changes in the use of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. The County of Volusia has reviewed the criteria for determining a substantial change in approved activities in accordance with 24CFR 91.505 and the Citizens Participation Plan. A proposed CDBG amendment to the FY 2024/25 Action Plan creates a new project, Safe Place Shelter Operating. The funds proposed for transfer are $8,447 from a City of Ormond Beach project completed under budget. A proposed CDBG amendment to the FY 2025/26 Action Plan cancels Family Health Sources Mindful Moments: A Journey of Wellness public service activity. A proposed CDBG amendment to the FY 2025/26 Action Plan creates a new project, Safe Place Shelter Operating. The funds proposed for transfer are $78,553 from the canceled Family Health Source activity.
