ORDINANCE 04-2026
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF CITY OF SOUTH BAY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ARTICLE XX, SECTION 20.13(L) OF THE CITY'S CODE OF ORDANCES ENTITLED PROHIBITED SIGNS, DELETING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY DISTANCE REQUIREMENT FOR SAID SECTION; DELETING AND REPLACING ARTICLE XX, SECTION 20.14 OF THE CITY'S CODE OF ORDANCES ENTITLED "SIGNS CONTINGENT ON SPECIAL REGULATIONS" WITH NEW TITLE "TEMPORARY POLITICAL SIGNS AND TEMPORARY NONCOMMERCIAL SIGNS"; PROVIDING FOR ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND REPEALER; PROVDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN CODE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BAY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 6, SECTION 6-20 OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BAY'S CODE OF ORDANANCES ENTITLED "PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE" TO PROVIDE FOR CERTAIN FEE INCREASES; PROVIDING FOR ADIOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN CODE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
If anyone has any questions regarding this proposal, they may be submitted in writing or at the time of the scheduled public hearing as noted above. Written comments should be addressed to the City Clerk, 335 S.W. 2nd Avenue, South Bay, FL 33493.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend the City Commission meeting and be heard concerning these matters. Copies of the full text of the Ordinance may be inspected by the public at City Hall, 335 SW. 2nd Avenue, South Bay, FL 33493 by contacting the City Clerk at (561) 996-6751.
If a person decides to appeal the decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at the public hearings or meetings herein referred, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. The City of South Bay does not prepare or provide such a record. The above items may be postponed or withdrawn without prior notice.
