LAKE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD NOTICE OF PROPOSED POLICY ADOPTIONS Notice is hereby given that THE SCHOOL BOARD OF LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, will consider proposed policy revisions for adoption (final approval) to Policies 8405-School Safety and Security, 8406-Reports of Suspicious Activity and Potential Threats to Schools, 8407-Safe-School Officers, 8415-Emergency and Crisis Management, 8420-Emergency Management, Emergency Preparedness and Emergency Response Agencies, at the Regular School Board Meeting, June 8, 2026, at 6:00 pm in the Commission Chambers of the Lake County Administration Bldg., 315 W. Main St., Tavares, FL. The purpose is to amend/develop and update policies and eliminate redundant and obsolete language. The effect is that policies will be current and incorporate best practices.
