NOTICE OF VACATING, ABANDONING, AND
DISCONTINUING PUBLIC STREETS
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Titusville, Brevard County, Florida will on the 26th of May, 2026, in the Council Chamber on the second floor of City Hall, 555 S. Washington Avenue, Titusville, FL 32796, beginning at 6:30 p.m., consider and determine whether or not the City will vacate, abandon, or discontinue and close certain streets herein described and renounce and disclaim any right of said City and the public in and to any of said land or any interest therein acquired by purchase, gift, devise, dedication, or prescription for street, alleyway, road, or highway purposes, as submitted by Lawrence P. Graham with Orange Plumbing Inc., and described as follows in Right of Way Vacation Application No. 1-2026 and real property described below:
THAT PART OF THE 50.00 FOOT RIGHT OF WAY OF AVENIDA REAL, LYING SOUTH OF LOT 29, BLOCK 2, AND NORTH OF LOT 11, BLOCK 5, RINCONORO, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 5, PAGE 70, PUBLIC RECORDS OF BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, LYING EAST OF THE EAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF CALLE CORTO (A 50 FOOT RIGHT OF WAY) AND WEST OF THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 29, BLOCK 2, PROJECTED SOUTH.
PLEASE ALSO TAKE NOTICE the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber on the second floor of City Hall, located at 555 S. Washington Avenue, Titusville, FL 32796, to hear interested persons with regard to this matter for recommendation to City Council.
This matter is subject to quasi-judicial rules of procedure. Interested parties should limit contact with the City Council on this topic to properly noticed public hearings or to written communication to the City Clerks Office.
Any person who decides to appeal a decision of the City Council or the Planning and Zoning Commission with respect to any matter considered at these meetings will need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is made.
The City desires to accommodate persons with disabilities. Accordingly, any physically handicapped person, pursuant to Chapter 286.26 Florida Statutes, should, at least 48 hours prior to the meeting, submit a written request that the physically handicapped person desires to attend the meeting to the City Clerks Office.
