PUBLIC NOTICE
ROAD VACATION
You are hereby notified that on
Thursday, June 4th, 2026
at 8:30 a.m. or soon thereafter, the
Hardee County Board of County Commissioners
will hold a public hearing for the adoption of a
resolution vacating a portion of the road/easement known as
Mott Road
The portion that part of the Mott Road Right of Way
of lying in the following three parcels of land;
(1) The NW1/4 & SE1/4 of Section 29; (2) the NW Corner of Section 29 the NW Corner of W1/2 of NE ¼ of SE1/4 of Section 29; (3) the E1/4 of NW1/4 of Section 29; All lying in Section 29 Township 33
South, Range 25 East, Hardee County, Florida.
The public hearing will be held in the Hardee County Board
of County Commissioners’ Board Room, 412 West Orange
Street, Room 103, Wauchula, Florida.
This procedure shall be in accordance with the provisions
of Section 336, Florida Statutes.
A petition for the vacating of the above-referenced road shall
be considered by the Board of County Commissioners after
required publication of this Notice. Copies of the documents
relating to this proposal are available for public inspection
during weekdays between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 3:00
P.M. in the Hardee County Public Works Division, 205
Hanchey Road, Wauchula, Florida.
This is a Disabled-Accessible facility. Any disabled person
needing to make special arrangements should contact the
Board of County Commissioners’ office at least five (5) days
prior to the public hearing.
This notice is published in compliance with Florida Statutes 286.0105.
