NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING(S) CITY OF WINTER HAVEN Notice is hereby given that at its Regular City Commission Meeting, the Winter Haven City Commission will hold SECOND READING(S)-PUBLIC HEARING(S) on on the proposed ordinance(s) at 6:00 p.m. or soon thereafter Monday, April 27, 2026, at City Hall in the John Fuller Auditorium, 451 Third Street, NW, Winter Haven, Florida 33881 at which time the City Commission will consider its adoption into law. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance(s): ORDINANCE NO. O-26-10 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA, BY REZONING TWO (2) PARCELS FROM COMMERCIAL- HIGHWAY (C-3) ZONING DISTRICT TO MIXED USE (MX) ZONING DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE CORRECTION OF SCRIVENER'S ERRORS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (General Location: 120 and 124 Avenue H, SE. The area covered by this request is 0.30+ acres.) ORDINANCE NO. O-26-13 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 0-25- 29, REGARDING APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR DEFRAYING EXPENSES OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF WINTER HAVEN FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2025; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE CORRECTION OF SCRIVENER'S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Copies of the proposed Ordinances may be inspected by contacting the City Clerk's office at 863-291-5627. If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such hearing(s), he/she will need a record of the proceeding(s) and for such purpose he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105). Please be advised individuals must make their own arrangements to produce this record. The City Commission may continue the public hearing(s) to other dates and times as it deems necessary. Any interested party shall be advised that the date, time and place of any continuation of these or continued public hearing(s) may be announced during the hearings and that no further notices regarding this matter may be published.
