PUBLIC NOTICE Public Hearing A public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sumter County Board of Commissioners Board Room at 500 West Lamar Street, Americus, Georgia with the Board of Zoning Appeals for the purpose of receiving citizens input and comments to discuss the following request. This meeting will be held in person. 2026-V-04-003: To consider a request from Anthony K. Dunning to place an additional mobile home in a Mixed/Use Residential (R2) zone at parcel 2721-200-19, also known as 222 Ed Carson Rd. As set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1992, Sumter County does not discriminate on the basis of disability, and will assist citizens with special needs given proper notice of seven (7) working days. For information, please call 229-928-4547 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays.
