The City of Douglasville Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026, to consider a request for a Special Land Use Permit for a Guest House for property zoned R-2 (Single Family Residential Detached, District). The site consists of +/- 0.29 acres located at 6304 Melrose Street, in Land Lot 21, District 1, Section 5, Parcel ID 0021015C027. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, and Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, June 15th, 2026. Both Planning Commission and Council meetings will be held at 6:00 pm, in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium, 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Alex Popham. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.
