OFFICIAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS NORTH SHORE WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT PUMPING STATION 1 GENERATOR UPGRADE LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS OWNER AND WORK: The North Shore Water Reclamation District hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received for “Pumping Station 1 Generator Upgrade”. The work generally consists of: Removal of the existing outdoor ancillaries from the old generator, erecting new concrete pads, installation of new gas meter, installation of new underground and above ground gas lines and electrical conduits, trenching for installation of new underground conduits, installation of new natural gas operation generator, demolish existing concrete pad and diesel storage tank, routing new electrical conduits and new wires, excavation and back filling and other related appurtenances for a complete installation at Pumping station number 1. TIME AND PLACE OF BID OPENING: Sealed Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m., Local Time on the 29th day of June 2026, in the office of the North Shore Water Reclamation District, P.O. WAGE RATES: This Contract calls for the construction of a “public work,” within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. (“the Act”).
