Bids for air handling units due March 10, 2026, at Sachs Recreation Center.

BID NOTICE    Notice is hereby given that the Deerfield Park District will receive and open sealed bids for the purchase and installation of (3) Roof Top Air Handling Units, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the Sachs Recreation Center, 455 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield, Illinois 60015.  All inquiries regarding the project along with bidding requirements and specifications should be addressed to Mr. Tony Korzyniewski, Superintendent of Recreation, at  tony@deerfieldparks.org or (847) 572-2660.  This contract calls for the construction of a “public work,” within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. (“the act”). The Act requires contractors and subcontractors to pay laborers, workers and mechanics performing services on public works projects no less than the “prevailing rate of wages” (hourly cash wages plus fringe benefits) in the county where the work is performed. For information regarding current prevailing wage rates, please refer to the Illinois Department of Labor's website at: http://www.state.il.us/ agency/idol/rates/rates.HTM. All contractors and subcontractors rendering services under this contract must comply with all requirements of the Act, including but not limited to, all wage, notice and record keeping duties.  The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities deemed to be in its best interest.
