SIOUX COUNTY ENGINEERS NOTICE OF HEARING RE:MAINTENANCE OF JAY AVENUE BETWEEN 320TH ST. AND 310TH ST. NOTICE OF PUBliIC HEARING Sioux County Regarding:Proposed Increase in Level of Maintenance of Jay Avenue, between 320th St and 310th St To:All property owners, all utility companies adjoining to or in the road ROW, and whom it may concern Jay Avenue is classified as an Area Service B road between 320th St and 310th St. This segment of Jay Ave is along the west side of Section 27, Sheridan Township (T87N, R44W). The Sioux County Board of Supervisors, acting under the authority of lowa Code Chapter 309.57, proposes to increase the level of maintenance on this road by changing the classificatior to Area Service A. A hearing will be held by the Sioux County Board of Supervisors in the boardroom of the Sioux County Courthouse, Orange City, IA 51041, at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. It is your privilege to attend this hearing to express your views concerning the proposed increase in level of maintenance or you may submit your written comments to the Sioux County Engineer no later than 3:30 PM, May 22, 2026.
