Chadbourne Tree Farm Conservation Easement 10,734 acres Albany, Andover, Bethel, Gilead, Greenwood, Milton, Rumford, Oxford County In accordance with 5 M.R.S.A 6200 et seq., the Land for Maine's Future Board will vote on a proposal to allocate funds for the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands' purchase of a conservation easement on 10,734 acres of land across twenty parcels in seven towns in Oxford County. The project comprises Andover Map 9 Lots 1-B, 1-C, and 17; Andover Map 2 Lots 3 and 35, Rumford Map 403 Lots 19 and 20; Rumford Map 225 Lots 17 and15, Map 224 Lots 1and 3; Lot 11; Rumford Map 228 Lot 39; Rumford Map 248 Lot 1, Milton Plantation Parcel OX0018-01-09 & Parcel OX0018-01-11; Bethel Map 20 Lot 34; Bethel Map 23 Lot 14; Bethel Map 18 Lot 27; Bethel Map 19 Lot 8 and Map 13 Lot 20, Map 14 Lot 9; Bethel Map 4 Lot 65; Bethel Map 4 Lot 20; Bethel Map 3 Lot 11, Map 3 Lot 16, Map 3 Lot 17, Map 3 Lot 25, Map 8 Lot 2, Map 8 Lot 1, Map 8 Lot 18, Map 8 Lot 20, Greenwood Map U1 Lot 32, Map R20 Lot 1, Map R21 Lot 8, Map R21 Lot 26; Map 2 Lot 19 & 23, Albany Township Map 1, Lot 13, 23, 24 & 29; Bethel Map 1 Lot 52, Map 2 Lot 6 and 6-A, Map 6, Lot 37 and 38, Map 7 Lot 42; and Bethel Map 6 Lot 22, Map 6 Lot 34; Bethel Map 11 Lot 4. The conservation easement will be held by the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands, and all the properties are accessible by public roads. Public comment on this acquisition will be accepted at the LMF's Board meeting on May 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM, in the Deering Building, Room 101, 90 Blossom Lane, Augusta, ME 04333.
