PUBLIC HEARING
Proposed Smart Growth Zoning Districts (Chapter 40R) Preliminary Application
Notice is hereby given that the Select Board will hold a Public Hearing on May 19, 2026 at 6:15 P.M in accordance with the provisions of G.L., c.40A §11, for the purpose of considering a proposed Smart Growth Zoning Bylaw and Districts ("Districts"), as defined and regulated in G.L., c. 40R and 760 CMR 59.00, et seq. The proposed Districts (2) consist of approximately 20.8 acres located at 1 Galaxy Pass (Assessors Map 11 Parcel 36) and 14.4 acres at 99 Boston Road (Assessors Map 11 Parcel 35).
The hearing will allow for public input on the proposed Districts, the accompanying draft zoning bylaw amendments and regulations, and the Town's submission of a Preliminary Application for Determination of Eligibility to the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC).
Interested parties may review the current draft of the bylaw and districts as well as materials considered during bylaw formulation and recordings of meetings regarding bylaw formulation at this link: https://www.suttonma.org/planning-board/pages/chapter-40rs-smart-growth-zoning.
