INVITATION TO BID
THE PARK BOARD OF THE
CITY OF LILBOURN, MISSOURI,
is accepting bids for the mowing and maintenance of all (2) City Parks.
Mowing
Mowing bids which include mowing, weed eating, trimming, etc. shall be bid on a per time basis. Mowing will be from June 2026 through June 2027 with the understanding that during November through February, mowing would be limited and therefore payments will only be made if mowing or other work occurs.
Maintenance
Maintenance bids will include all playground equipment upkeep and repairs and will also be responsible for all duties as outlined in the Maintenance Contract. The maintenance bids are for year-round upkeep for all Parks on an as needed basis.
Proof of minimum $1,000,000.00 commercial property insurance is required to bid.
Bidders should have all the tools and equipment necessary for mowing and maintenance of City Parks.
Bidders interested in bidding on both maintenance and mowing should submit separate bids for each.
Bidding is open immediately and closes on June 1, 2026, at 4 pm. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked Maintenance or Mowing on the outside of the envelope. Bids should be submitted to the Lilbourn Park Board, %Laura McVay, Secretary, 119 E. Lewis Street, Lilbourn, MO 63862. Bids can also be submitted to the City Clerk of Lilbourn, Lilbourn City Hall during normal business hours with exclusion of nationally recognized holidays. Bids will be opened at the Lilbourn City Hall on June 1st, 2026 at the regular Park Board meeting at 5:30 pm. Preference will be given to local bidders. The Park Board may reject any or all bids.
