Legal Notice # 21932174 NOTICE TO BIDDERS HERRICKS UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT 999B Herricks Road New Hyde Park, New York 11040 The Board of Education of the Herricks Union Free School District, New Hyde Park, New York, in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids from reputable and qualified vehicle maintenance firms for the provision of labor and materials for the following contract with the School District: SCHOOL BUS REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES BID #2026-3 May 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Bids for School Bus Maintenance Services for the term of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with an option to renew on an annual basis for up to five (5) additional years, will be received until the above stated hour of prevailing time and date at the Herricks Union Free School District Administration Building, Purchasing Office, located at 999B Herricks Road, New Hyde Park, New York 11040, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the same office beginning on April 16, 2026, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. To receive specifications and bid forms via express mail at bidders' cost, bidders must contact the District Offices at (516) 305-8900. Bids must be presented on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the Specifications. All bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, which are clearly marked on the outside: Bid For: "Herricks Union Free School District School Bus Repair and Maintenance Service Contract BID #2026-3. All bids shall remain firm for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of bid opening. Any deviations from Specifications must be listed on a separate sheet attached to the bidders' submissions and referred to separately in the Bid Proposal Form. In all cases not indicated by bidders as a deviation, it is understood that the Specifications of the Herricks School District shall apply. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids, or to accept that bid which, in the Board of Education's judgment, is in the best interest of the School District. The Board of Education reserves the right to consider experience, service and reputation in the above-referenced fields. In addition, the Board of Education reserves the right to consider the financial responsibility and specific qualifications, as set out herein, of the prospective bidder in its evaluation of the bids and award of the contracts.
