Legal Notice # 21929834 NOTICE TO BIDDERS Board of Education New Hyde Park Garden City Park UFSD Administration Building 1950 Hillside Ave. New Hyde Park, NY 11040 The Board of Education of the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park Union Free School District, Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County, New York hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for Nassau County Directors of School Facilities Purchasing Consortium, Electrical Repairs and Maintenance for the 2026-2027 school year. Participating school districts will include: Baldwin, Hewlett-Woodmere, North Merrick, Bellmore, Hicksville, North Shore, Bellmore-Merrick HS, Island Trees, Plainedge, Bethpage, Jericho, Plainview Old Bethpage, Carl Place, Levittown, Port Washington, East Rockaway, Locust Valley, Rockville Centre, East Williston, Long Beach, Roosevelt, Floral Park-Bellerose, Lynbrook, Seaford, Freeport, Manhasset, Syosset, Garden City, Massapequa, Valley Stream 24, Glen Cove, Merrick, Valley Stream 30, Hempstead, Mineola, Wantagh, Great Neck, NHP-GCP, West Hempstead, Herricks, North Bellmore, Westbury. Sealed bids will be addressed to the attention of Director of Facilities Office, Administration Building 1950 Hillside Ave., New Hyde Park, New York 11040, until April 15, 2026 at 11:30am at which time the proposals will be publicly read: Electrical Repairs and Maintenance All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, bearing on the outside the name and address of the bidder and the title of the bid in the lower left-corner. The specifications and bid forms may be secured on or after April 2, 2026 from the Director of Facilities Office, Administration Building, 1950 Hillside Ave., New Hyde Park, New York 11040. The School District reserves the right to specify a later bid opening date through a bid addendum. If the Administration Office is closed on the specified date for the bid opening due to inclement weather or other emergency, bids will be opened on the next business day on which the Administration Office is open. Any bid received after the time stated for opening of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened. Each bidder assumes the risk of any delay caused by the mail or by other means of delivery. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids and to re-advertise for new bids, or to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions, when doing so is deemed, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the School District.
