Legal Notice # 21933880 SOUTHEAST NASSAU TRANSPORTATION CO-OPERATIVE Island Trees UFSD, Hicksville UFSD, Levittown UFSD, Seaford UFSD, Plainedge UFSD, Wantagh UFSD, Plainview-Old Bethpage CSD NOTICE TO BIDDERS In accordance with the provision of Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, the Boards of Education of the Southeast Nassau Transportation Co-Operative, consisting of Island Trees UFSD, Levittown UFSD, Plainedge UFSD, Wantagh UFSD, Plainview-Old-Bethpage CSD, and Seaford UFSD, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for: 2026-2027 Summer and School Year Transportation On behalf of the Southeast Nassau Transportation Co-Operative, Plainview Old-Bethpage School District hereby gives public notice that SEALED BIDS will be received until 10:00 AM prevailing time on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Plainview OldBethpage School District Board Room, located at 106 Washington Avenue, NY 11803 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in-person. Sealed bids are to be addressed to the attention of Sam O'Leary, Purchasing Agent, Plainview Old-Bethpage District 106 Washington Avenue, NY 11803. Bid Specifications and all applicable terms and conditions forms can be obtained by emailing bids@pobschools.org or by calling (516) 434-3066. The Boards of Education reserve the right to waive any informality in or to reject in whole or in part all bids or to accept any bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the school district. All proposals received after the time stated in the Notice to Bidders will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or in the handling of the mail by employees of the School District. Whether sent by mail or by means of personal delivery, the bidder assumes responsibility for having his bid deposited on time at the place specified.
