LEGAL NOTICE Bids for Department of Public Works Project EN-2601 will be received on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Division of Purchasing of Broome County, 2nd Floor, Edwin L. Crawford County Office Building, 60 Hawley Street, Binghamton, New York, 13902-1766, telephone (607) 778-2188, up to and including 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, April 1, 2026, for the following: PETROLEUM BULK STORAGE TANK REPLACEMENT PROJECT – BROOME COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY TOWN OF DICKINSON COUNTY OF BROOME STATE OF NEW YORK DPW PROJECT NO: EN-2601 RFB 2026-013 Deposit Required: Each Proposal must be made upon the forms provided by the County and shall be accompanied by a deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Said Deposit shall be made payable to the Broome County Director of OMB, shall be considered a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the Contract with the County if it is awarded to him/her. Minimum Wage Rates shall be as determined by the New York State Department of Labor. If the bid price for this project exceeds $100,000, then the Broome County Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) subcontracting goal is 3.5%, and the EEO Minority Hiring Goal is 5.0% in accordance with the programs detailed in the bid documents.
