NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION Referendum Authorizing Sale of the Senter Street Firehouse New Castle Fire District No. 1 in the Town of New Castle, New York NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Fire Commissioners, a special election of the qualified voters of the New Castle Fire District No. 1, County of Westchester, State of New York, will be held at the New Castle Fire District No. 1 Firehouse located at 491 King Street, Chappaqua, NY 10514 on the 14th day of April, 2026, between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm to vote on whether to approve the following resolution which was adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners on February 18. 2026: RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF THE NEW CASTLE FIRE DISTRICT NO. 1, IN THE TOWN OF NEW CASTLE, WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A FIREHOUSE AND REAL PROPERTY WHICH HAS BEEN DECLARED AS SURPLUS WITH A VALUE OVER $100,000. All persons registered to vote in the district and residing in the District for at least thirty (30) days prior to the day of the vote may vote in such special election.
