SUFFOLK COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education shall present to the qualified voters of the Greenport Union Free School District at a special school district meeting to be held on March 10, 2026 the following proposition in substantially the following form: PROPOSITION #1_ SHALL the Board of Education of the Greenport Union Free School District be authorized to expend $1,970,000 representing monies from the Capital Reserve Fund established on May 16, 2017 for the purpose of performing the following projects: replacement of existing cinder track with a new synthetic walking track; replacement of existing interior gymnasium bleachers; replacement of existing wood athletic field bleachers with new permanent grandstand bleachers and press box; resodding of existing multipurpose athletic field; replacement of existing ceiling located in the boys’ and girls’ locker rooms; replacement of existing wood storage barn with a new 30’ x 30’ metal building; construction of a new comfort station; demolition of existing grounds building and repaving to create a half-court basketball area; and replacement of existing underground fuel tank (20,000-gallon capacity). all of the foregoing to include all labor, materials, equipment, apparatus and incidental costs related thereto.
