PB 02/24/2026 Town of Queensbury Community Development Office 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY 12804 Legal Ad – Publish Saturday, February 14, 2026 Notice of Public Hearing Pursuant to requirements of the Town of Queensbury Zoning Ordinance and/or Subdivision Regulations notice is given that the Town of Queensbury Planning Board will conduct a meeting / public hearing / public comment to be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 @ 7:00 PM in the Queensbury Activities Center located at 742 Bay Road to consider the applications for: 1. Site Plan 5-2026. Applicant: Alan & Brenda Wishart. Property owner: Alan & Brenda Wishart, 233 Cleverdale Road in a WR zone. Applicant proposes demolition of an existing home and a detached garage in order to build a new home with a 2,992 sq ft footprint, attached garage and 548 sq ft deck. The floor area of the new home will be 8,068 sq ft with a height of 31 ft. There is an existing 768 sq ft guest house on the property with a floor area of 1,536 sq ft that will have interior renovations that include a new gabled roof to replace the existing roof and 296 sq ft of upper-level decks with two stair sections. The site disturbance is proposed to be 1.73 acres. The existing septic for the guesthouse has been certified, and a new septic system is proposed for the new home. Project work includes tree removal within 35 ft of the shoreline and a new planting plan. Pursuant to chapter 179-3-040, 179-6-050 & 179-6-065, site plan for new floor area in a CEA, stormwater management, site landscaping and hard surfacing within 50 ft of the shoreline shall be subject to Planning Board review and approval.
