TOWN OF FLOYD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Please take notice that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Floyd on April 14, 2026 at 5:30 PM in the Town Board Room, Municipal Center, 8299 Old Floyd Road, Rome, NY 13440 regarding the adoption of the following Local Law: Local Law #1 of 2026 to extend the term of office for Town Tax Collector from two (2) years to four (4) years. Said four (4) year term shall commence on the 1st day of January, 2027 and shall apply to those persons elected to said office at the Town Election to be held on November 3, 2026, and to those persons elected to said office at each subsequent Town election thereafter. The proposed local law is available for inspection during regular business hours in the Office of the Town Clerk, 8299 Old Floyd Road, Rome, NY 13440.
