ERIE COUNTY NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York, a Public Hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Cheektowaga on the 10th day of March, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. at the Town Hall, 3301 Broadway, Cheektowaga, New York to consider and discuss and, if need be, act upon the proposed enactment of Local Law Intro No. 3 of the Year 2026, entitled “A Local Law to Amend the Town Environmental Impact Review Law”. Following is proposed Local Law Intro No. 3 of 2026: Local Law Intro No. 3 of 2026 A Local Law to Amend the Town Environmental Impact Review Law 1. Section 107-8, entitled “Advisory Committee” shall be amended as follows:. Section 107-8 Advisory Committee - The Advisory Committee shall be composed of the Town Supervising Code Enforcement Officer, Town Engineer, Town Superintendent of Highways, Town Planning Board Chairman, Traffic Control Officer of the Town of Cheektowaga Police Department, Cheektowaga Conservation Advisory Council Chairman, and Town Traffic Safety Commission Chairman, or their designees.
