ERIE COUNTY NOTICE OF MEETING TOWN OF CHEEKTOWAGA ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS Meeting: 3/18/2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Cheektowaga will hold a Public Hearing on 3/18/2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Cheektowaga Town Hall, Council Chambers, 3301 Broadway, Corner of Broadway and Union Roads, to consider the following applications for Variances, Temporary or Special Permits, and/or Zoning Law Interpretations under the Zoning Law pursuant to Article IX of the Zoning Law of the Town of Cheektowaga. All meeting information is posted on the Town website, www.tocny.org under “News & Announcements” one week prior to the scheduled meeting date. 1. Area Variance requested by Bryan Young/6386 Transit Road LLC For property located at 6386 Transit Road Whereas, the applicant, Bryan Young, on behalf of 6386 Transit Road, LLC, for 6386 Transit Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14043 SBL: 93.01-1-26.11, has proposed additional parking spaces in front of the principal buildings (200 & 400) along Transit Road, within five (5) feet of the parcel line, of which is not permitted in front of the principal building(s) at a parcel line setback of less than five (5) feet. 1. Area Variance requested by Scott Pla of Schuster Construction/John & Lauren Lombardo For property located at 57 Chapel Avenue The applicant, Scott Pla of Schuster Construction on behalf of John and Lauren Lombardo of 57 Chapel Avenue, SBL: 91.20-2-9, proposes construction of an unenclosed porch and stairs in front of the home which extends five and half (5.5) feet into the required front yard leaving fifteen (15) feet of front yard space to the front property line, whereas, zoning law states that in no case shall such extension be allowed to be closer than eighteen (18) feet to a front property line. 1.
