NOTICE OF ADOPTION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, after a public hearing was held by the Town Board of the Town of Southampton, both in-person and via videoconferencing, on January 27, 2026, the Town Board, at their meeting of March 24, 2026, adopted LOCAL LAW NO. 11 OF 2026 as follows: “A LOCAL LAW amending Town Code Chapter 111 Article VI (Construction in and Adjacent to Town Waters and Beach Areas) to Prohibit the Construction of Private Docks in the Peconic Bay.” Summary of Proposed Law To amend Chapter 111 Article VI (Construction in and Adjacent to Town Waters and Beach Areas) to prohibit the construction of private docks used for residential purposes in Little Peconic Bay and Great Peconic Bay. Copies of this local law, sponsored by Maria Z. Moore, William Pell, Michael Iasilli, and Cynthia McNamara, are on file in the Town Clerk’s Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. BY ORDER OF THE TOWN BOARD TOWN OF SOUTHAMPTON, NEW YORK SUNDY A.
