NOTICE OF ADOPTION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, after a public hearing was held by the Town Board of the Town of Southampton, both in-person and via videoconferencing, on March 24, 2026, the Town Board, at their meeting of April 14, 2026 at 1:00pm adopted LOCAL LAW NO.9 OF 2026 as follows: “A LOCAL LAW amending chapter 211, entitled "Littering and Handbills” to revise procedures. Summary of Proposed Law A LOCAL LAW amending § 211 "Littering and handbills” to revise procedures and educate residents about their legal rights to prevent others from contacting them on private property.” Copies of the proposed local law, sponsored by Councilman Iasilli and Councilman Pell are on file in the Town Clerk’s Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. BY ORDER OF THE TOWN BOARD TOWN OF SOUTHAMPTON, NEW YORK SUNDY A.
