The Amherst Central School District has not applied pesticides, as defined in New York law, on school property during the period from January 1, 2026 through March 31, 2026 . Pesticides may be used at school facilities or on school grounds during the school year, but only pursuant to the District’s Integrated Pest Management Program. The District maintains a list of staff and parents who wish to receive 48 hours’ advance written notice of applicable pesticide applications.
