CORNING JOINT FIRE DISTRICT NOTICE OF RESOLUTION ADOPTED SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Regular Meeting held on May 6th, 2026, the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Corning Joint Fire District duly adopted a resolution, abstracted as follows, subject to permissive referendum: BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of Section 23 of NYS Town Law the following items of surplus equipment, some which may be individually valued between $20,000 and $99,999, will be sold at auction and that funds received from these sales will be deposited to the District’s Capital Reserve Account for Apparatus Repair and Replacement: • 2007 Neoteric Hovercraft, Model 3626, s/n US-NUS0476TD707 and associated Trailer, s/n 1N9BB18157T204114, and • 2006 Ford F550 (Rescue 47), VIN 1FDAW57P76EA20143, and • 2002 Chevrolet Suburban (Medic 37), VIN 3GNGK26U12G323591, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Resolution was adopted subject to permissive referendum as provided in Section 23 of the Town Law of the State of New York.
