Notice of CDBG Public Comment Period NOTICE SEEKING PUBLIC COMMENTS City of Glens Falls Community Development Office Program Year 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year 2 Annual Action Plan and Budget The City of Glens Falls receives annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address a variety of community social service, anti-poverty, affordable housing, and other community and economic development needs. The Draft 2026 “Year 2 CDBG Annual Action Plan and Budget” describing the City’s intended use of CDBG Program funding between August 1, 2026 and July 31, 2027 is available for public review at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 42 Ridge Street, 1st Floor, Glens Falls; and at Crandall Public Library (Main Desk), 221 Glen Street, Glens Falls; and online at the “Community Development” web page at www.cityofglensfallsny.com for a minimum of 30 calendar days starting Thursday, May 7, 2026. Questions and comments from the public are encouraged. Please provide written comments and any suggestions about community development needs or specific projects and activities noted in the Draft 2026 Annual Action Plan to the City of Glens Falls Community Development Office no later than Monday, June 8, 2026 by 3:00 PM and addressed to Allison Gaddy, Director of Planning and Zoning, City Hall, 42 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801, or by email at directorofplanning-zoning@cityofglensfallsny.gov . It is expected that the Common Council will consider any comments prior to final adoption of the 2026 CDBG Year 2 Annual Action Plan and Budget tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the Regular Common Council Meeting to be held at 7:30 PM on that same date.
