TOWN OF ITALY NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL PURSUANT TO SECTION 506 AND 526 OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW HEARING OF COMPLAINTS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor of the Town of Italy, County of Yates will complete the tentative assessment roll on May 1, 2026. The roll can be viewed online at: www.yatescounty.org or in the Italy Town Board room during regular hours. By phone appointment only, the assessor will be available on May 7, 9, 14 and 21 between 9am and 1pm, May 07: 6pm to 8pm Call the Assessor at (585) 374-5035 on Thursdays between 8am and 1:00pm to schedule. APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR GRIEVANCE, and MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO 1PM ON MAY 21st. Call the Assessor’s office to schedule (hours above). Completed RP-524 and supporting documents must be submitted to the Assessor’s office by 1pm May 21st for scheduled hearings. Complaints may also be reviewed by mail as long as the completed documents are received before May 26th.
