Personal Voter Registration for the Utica City School District School Board Election Notice is hereby given that the Board of Registration of the Utica City School District will convene at the offices of the Board of Education of the Utica City School District, Administration Offices, 929 York Street, Utica, New York for the purpose of preparing a voting register for each school election District within the Utica City School District, on the 27th day of April 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and the 5th day of May 2026 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Any person who is not already registered, upon proving that he or she is entitled to vote in the District, may have his or her name placed upon the register. Voter qualifications are: 1. You are a citizen of the United States of America 2. You are at least 18 years of age 3. You are a registered voter OR a resident of the school District for at least 30 days prior to the election 4. You are not otherwise prohibited from voting under the provisions of section 5-106 of the Election Law or other applicable law No eligible voters shall be denied the right to vote based upon their inabilities to read and write English. Also, any person who registered for the preceding general election but at the time of such Registration resided in a school election District other than the one in which he presently resides must, in order to be entitled vote, present himself personally for Registration. The Registration books will contain the names of persons who registered under permanent personal Registration on or before May 19, 2026 the date of the Utica City School District Annual Election and Budget Vote and Proposition Vote.
