Drainage will be reestablished by mowing the invasive common reed (Phragmites australis), bagging clippings, and treating the area with an appropriate herbicide (AquaNeat) after 3-4 weeks of regrowth while the swale is dry. Total impact area is approximately .16 acres and within a Class-2, NYS regulated wetland.
