NOTICE OF TAX COLLECTION








TAKE NOTICE, THAT I, the undersigned, Treasurer of the Village of Groton, NY, have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, and I will attend the Village Office, at 308 Main Street, in said Village from June 1, 2026 to and including July 1, 2026, for the following hours during which time taxes may be paid without additional charge.




Monday – Thursday - 8:00am to 4:30pm

Fridays - 8:00am to 1:00pm

Saturday, June 27th 9:00am to 12 noon




Take further notice, all such taxes that remain unpaid after July 1, 2026, five percent (5%) will be added for the first month and an additional one percent (1%) for each month and fraction thereof, until paid. That any taxes remaining unpaid after November 2, 2026, will be returned to Tompkins County for collection and enforcement at the applicable rates.
