LEGAL ADThe Belmont County Department of Job and Family Services is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a provider to facilitate Family Team Meetings (FTM) in its Children Services division for the period of July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027.Family Team Meetings are collaborative meetings held with active children services' cases to monitor the progress of case plans toward meeting the desired outcome of family reunification. The facilitator must be available to meet within thirty (30) days of a case being transferred from the intake unit to the ongoing case management unit with additional meetings scheduled at agreed upon intervals by the parties involved with the case plan. FTM's are to be scheduled at a minimum of every ninety (90) days until permanent case custody is awarded or case closure. The facilitator must be to accommodate additional meetings as deemed necessary by agency staff. The facilitator is responsible for meeting preparation including but not limited to preparing agendas, assisting the family and case manager in identifying meeting participants, etc., information sharing, planning, establishing, and maintaining direction and decision processes.The successful proposal will be awarded a one-year contract explaining the contractor's and agency's responsibilities, scope of the work, contract amount and other applicable terms and conditions mandated by state and federal regulations.Proposals must include the Facilitator's Name, address, phone number and email address. A brief resume explaining their background in working with families and children and any certifications/ licenses. The proposal must also include a total per unit cost. A unit is defined as one hour. Units are billed in quarter hour increments. BCDJFS will determine the maximum billable amount under the terms of this contract.Proposals must be submitted to the Belmont County Commissioners, Attention: FTM RFP, 101 West Main Street, St. Clairsville OH 43950 by 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Proposals may be dropped off during normal business hours of Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM or may be mailed to the address noted above. Proposals will be opened at 11:00 AM on May 27, 2026, during the regular weekly meeting of the Belmont County Commissioners. The successful awardee shall be licensed to conduct business in the State of Ohio and maintain all necessary insurance (worker's compensation, liability, etc.).The agency reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.T.L.
