Request for ProposalsThe City of St. Clairsville will receive Sealed Proposals for leasing the rights to extract oil, natural gas, and any constituents from lands owned by the City of St. Clairsville. The City holds a deed to approximately 24.02 total acres (in 3 parcels) in the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio. Bids will be accepted at the office of the Director of Public Service/Safety at 100 N. Market St. until June 8 th , 2026, at noon, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals may be mailed to DOPS, City of St. Clairsville, Box 537, St. Clairsville, OH 43950. All bids are to be submitted in an envelope plainly marked “City of St. Clairsville Oil & Gas Lease” on the exterior.Copies of instructions for bidders and parcel numbers can be obtained on the City's website (stclairsville.com/bids).The City reserves the right to reject any proposals at its sole discretion and is under no obligation to enter into a lease agreement with anyone submitting a bid in response to this request.T.L.
