Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Control of the City of North Canton, Ohio at the office of Director of Administration of the City of North Canton, Ohio, 145 North Main Street, North Canton, Ohio 44720, until 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 6, 2026, as authorized by North Canton City Council Ordinance No. 04-2024 for the:

OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COST: $841,166
Plans and Project Manuals may be obtained at the office of the North Canton City Engineer, 145 North Main Street, North Canton, Ohio 44720, telephone 330-499-8223, for a charge of One Hundred dollars ($100.00). Checks must be made payable to the City of North Canton. No refunds will be made for returned sets. Plans and Project Manuals may be shipped at requestor's expense.
The project consists of the milling and repaving of approximately 3,300 linear feet of four and five lane roadway including pavement markings, minimal curb and gutter replacement, and manhole adjustments.
All bidders must be ODOT pre-qualified and submit a bid security with their bid in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 153.54 and as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders.
A list of Bidding Documents Plan Holders will be available at the office of the City Engineer. Each Bidder must be a Bidding Documents Holder as defined in Article 1 of the Instruction to Bidders. The Board of Control of the City of North Canton, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work.
“Small Business (SBE) Requirement. SBE participation goals (Subcontracts, materials, supplies) have been set on this project for those certified as SBEs in accordance with the TEA-21 (1998) and 49 CFR, Part 26, and qualified to bid with ODOT under Chapter 5525 of the Ohio Revised Code (O.R.C.).” At the beginning following the project identification the SBE goal designation is written, i.e. SBE Goal: 7%.
