City seeks engineering firms for projects in 2026 and 2027.

Re: REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATION – General Engineering Services
The City of North Canton intends to contract for professional engineering services in conjunction with various projects for the years 2026 and 2027. Engineering firms interested in being considered for a contract to provide the required services should reply with a Statement of Qualifications no later than 4:00 PM, March 27, 2026.

Statements of Qualification should include information regarding the firm's history, education, and experience of owners and key personnel, experience in similar projects, number and location of offices, size and availability of staff, the firm's equipment and facilities, sub-consultants that might be utilized, references, and other pertinent information.
Services included in this request may be for surveying, planning studies, traffic studies, engineering design, geotechnical design (including experience with ODNR's AMLER program), right-of-way acquisition, or construction management/observation services for:
• Transportation projects including streets, bridges, and signals.
• Sanitary sewer projects including sewer lines and pump stations.
• Water distribution projects including waterlines, water towers/tanks,
and booster stations.
• Raw water supply projects including well field development and transmission
waterlines.
• Storm drainage projects including storm pipes, retention/detention facilities, and floodplain map revisions.
Selection will be made on a project-by-project basis. Selection for projects with an estimated fee of less than $50,000 will be made based on the Statement of Qualifications on file and a contract will be negotiated. For each project with an estimated fee of greater than $50,000, all qualified firms will be evaluated and ranked based on the Statements of Qualifications on file. The three highest-ranking firms will be asked to submit technical proposals, which will be ranked. A fee will then be negotiated with the firm having the highest- ranking proposal.
